Activity Day Fundraiser

The whole school celebrated the last day of term by enjoying an Activity Day run by Mr Pietsch and Mrs Truong.  The students participated in a walkathon called ‘Walk the Wall’ to raise money for International China Concern which helps abandoned and disabled children in China.  Together the students ran or walked 775 laps of the park and raised $241.50 for the charity!

The students also performed in a skipping showcase called ‘Jump Rope for Heart’ which raised funds and awareness for the Heart Foundation.  Different classes showed off skipping tricks and skills for each other which they had been practising all term. The skipping showcase successfully raised an additional $141.50 for the Heart Foundation.

We are very proud of our students for working hard to make a difference in the lives of others.  Congratulations to everyone involved and thank you to everyone who donated.
