Sunshine Christian School celebrated its first Multicultural Day on Friday, December 4th. All students and staff were encouraged to come in the traditional costume of their country of origin, or bring an item significant to their country or culture to show their class. Participants were also free to 'borrow' another culture if they chose. The school looked festive as it was decorated with flags from all nations created by the students. The beautiful costumes worn made it an even more vibrant environment! Many students shared a sentence in their own language at assembly, and a flag scavenger hunt was enjoyed by the whole school. Congratulations to Student Council who planned and organized a very enjoyable, successful event.
