Living in Community Awards

It was a pleasure to be a part of the Living in Community Awards presentation at the conclusion of last Monday’s Whole School Worship. It is one of my personal highlights of the year.

Not only did we have the opportunity to recognize four students (Zin, William, Juan Pablo, and Rebekah) who have displayed the school values despite the hardships they have faced in their lives, but we were also able to celebrate this achievement with their families and acknowledge the sacrifices they have made for their children.

We are extremely grateful for the generosity of and the continued relationship we have with Pilgrim Uniting Church and its members. Their work in the local community and support of our school make a real difference to people in our community.

We thank Sue and Graeme Hodgart and Pastor Ikani for their commitment to building stronger relations between the church and school.
