On Wednesday May 4^th, our school was treated to a visit from a ‘minibeast’ expert. She introduced our students to her pet leafy stick insect, Lucy. The children learnt that Lucy, like many insects, has an exoskeleton. Ask your child to tell you about the butterflies, crickets, caterpillars and chrysalises that they were able to see and touch on the day.
