Special Friends Day 2026

Our Prep/1 classroom recently welcomed three “special friends” from St Matthew Church. Students valued the opportunity to learn about older people’s wellbeing and to listen to the wisdom and experiences shared by our visitors. It was a joyful time of connection as students shared their special toys and worked together on a creative arts and crafts activity.

Sunshine Christian School acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the Land on which we meet to learn and grow. The Traditional Owners have walked on and cared for this Land since before recorded time. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging as we travel this journey of reconciliation in Australia.
