Our Year 5/6 students have been exploring how small actions can make a big difference in creating a more sustainable future.

Last week, Diana from LifeRocks visited our classroom to teach us all about the benefits of composting. Students discovered how tiny soil creatures work tirelessly to break down food scraps and organic waste, transforming them into nutrient-rich soil that helps plants thrive.

It was fascinating to learn how nature recycles waste and how composting can reduce landfill while supporting a healthier environment. We loved getting a closer look at the amazing process happening right beneath our feet!
