Prep/ One

In the Prep/1 classroom we have been talking about ‘groups of’ things.

We have been finding it hard to follow the instructions carefully. You can give us step by step instructions to draw a certain number of groups, then tell us how many things to draw in each group. Ask us how many things altogether!

Year 2/ 3

In the Year 2/3 classroom we are learning about division or sharing in Maths. Students divide a collection of objects into equal groups. Then they write a number sentence. You can help your child by dividing a collection into equal sets. Sometimes there is a remainder!

Year 3/ 4

In the Year 3/4 classroom we have started learning about Data. We know how to collect data by using observations or asking questions.

You can ask us how to collect data and get us to collect data at home!

Year 5/ 6

In the Year 5/6 classroom we have created our own growing patterns and used function tables and rules to predict things about future numbers in the pattern. Ask us how we come up with the rules.
