Living in Community Awards

The school has been blessed with a close relationship with Pilgrim Uniting Church in Yarraville for several years. The church has been a long-time supporter of the school and has especially advocated for students who consistently display the school values. For the seventh consecutive year, the church has donated a $500 bursary to four students who show compassion, service, courage and forgiveness. The bursaries will help the families of the students to pay their fees and any other education related expenses. This opportunity has been made available through the amazing work of their Opportunity Shop MissionPoint.

We were pleased to have Sue and Graeme Hodgart and Pastor Ikani attend our whole school worship to make a special presentation to San Khaw (Year 3), David (Year 4), Akec (Year 6) and Lading (Year 6). We congratulate these students on being worthy recipients of the 2023 Living in Community Award.

The school thanks Pilgrim church for their continued support of the school and for enriching the lives of our students. Our prayer is that God continues to bless the mission work of Pilgrim and MissionPoint as they serve local and global communities in need of assistance.
